My way in the world of photography started out in an unusual way. On a trip with my friends I encountered a group of young people in a pub, a very attractive girl among them. I made a wager with my friends that I would take photos of this girl in water on the very next day, and won the bet. I and the model liked the photos so much that a second shooting followed the first one, and nude photography is now my prefered subject. I am, therefore, a self-taught photographer who has learned the craft through reading books and making his own experiments.

It is not possible to learn photography, everything should be born from the soul and feelings of the photographer. My passion for nude photography derives from my conviction that a woman’s body is the most beautiful of all motifs, and aim to express this in my work. For this purpose I use only a minimum of technology: starting with simple analog cameras, I moved on to digital photography, and now I like to use a Nikon D3.

My locations of choice are decaying houses, where the contrast between the ambience and the model’s body pleases me, and the natural daylight gives me the type of lighting I wish to have. „It’s not a question of the equipment, but what you make of it.

It’s true, that every photographer needs a sound technical grounding, but as soon as he had mastered this, he must begin to precieve the limits and to go beyond them. Nothing else leads to results – in the world of photography or any other. I live for the big moments, for my photos and my feelings. My photos are my life. Through my work I plumb the deepest depths and scale the highest heights. I live for and through my photos. All or nothing!
